The MTS Plastic fuel tank is specifically designed for 1945-1964 Jeep CJ2A, CJ3A, and early CJ3B models up to serial number 39838, serving as a practical replacement for the original "under the passenger" seat configuration.

This tank features a straight fuel filler neck, ensuring a direct connection without angling back towards the rear tire, which enhances accessibility during refueling. The unit is secured with five screws for the sending unit, and it incorporates a fuel pickup tube located on the top of the tank, necessitating the use of an in-line fuel filter for optimal performance.

Notably, this tank lacks a drain plug, streamlining its design. Included with the tank is a new 5-hole sending unit gasket,.
