MTS 1955-1972 Jeep CJ5 and CJ6 "Under the Passengers" seat fuel tank

The MTS Plastic fuel tank is specifically designed for the 1955-1972 Jeep CJ5 and CJ6 models, providing an efficient and practical solution for fuel storage beneath the passenger seat. This tank features a robust construction and is equipped with a sending unit that is secured by six screws, ensuring a reliable fit. The angled fuel filler neck is strategically positioned towards the rear tire for optimal access and functionality, while the fuel pickup tube is conveniently located on the top of the tank for effective fuel delivery. It is important to note that an in-line fuel filter is required for optimal performance, and this tank does not include a drain plug. The product also comes with a new 6-hole sending unit gasket, and its approximate dimensions are 25" x 18 1/2" x 6 1/2". This tank serves as a direct replacement for part number 912008-RH, with UPC 810160410171 for easy identification.

*This fuel tank will work with the V6 engine and the 6 screw send unit installation method only. This tank does not replace the lock ring style sending unit installation method.
