The MTS Plastic fuel tank, designed specifically for the 1965-1972 Jeep CJ5 and CJ6 models, offers a reliable replacement for the original under-the-driver's-seat fuel tank. This tank features a sending unit that is securely installed with a lock ring, ensuring optimal performance and safety.
The tank is equipped with an angled filler neck that directs fuel toward the rear tire, facilitating easier refueling. Additionally, the fuel pick-up tube is integrated within the sending unit, which enhances the efficiency of fuel delivery.
It is important to note that an in-line fuel filter is required for proper operation. The assembly comes complete with a new lock ring and gasket
